If you’re praying for something specific (e.g academic breakthrough, Marital settlement, financial breakthrough) but find that God is pointing you towards something else, (e.g finding your purpose, spiritual growth, revival, etc), it’s essential to focus on the area He’s directing you towards. By doing so, you may even receive what you were initially praying for. Remember, the Bible says, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.”
As human beings, we tend to rush things and want what we desire immediately. But sometimes, we need to trust God’s plan and timing. Ignoring His guidance and focusing solely on our wants may only prolong the wait. Instead, it’s crucial to listen to His instructions and follow the process He lays out for us.
Remember, God’s ways are not our ways, and we must trust His guidance for our lives. Sometimes, the answers to our prayers lie in obeying God’s instructions and following the process he lays down for us.
